Bed & Bed Parts:

While packing the Bed/Bed parts/Deewan all margin and corners are padded with Corrugated Roll/Corners and then the complete body is wrapped with a stretch film for extra strength and prevention from wear & tear at the time of loading/unloading.

 

Rugs/Mats/Carpets:

Expensive carpets or rugs are packed with Naphthalene Balls, Silica Gel pouches put in their packing. Before putting them in carpet they are wrapped in white paper. Rugs and carpets are folded/rolled (in case they cannot be folded) and are wrapped with stretch film and Corrugated Roll followed with stretch film again.

 

Sofa & Sofa chairs:

While packing the sofa/sofa chair, packers ask the customers for very light blanket, cushions, pillows to put in them for better cushioning.

Entire body is wrapped up with Stretch Film or polythene to prevent it from dust and water seepage.

Base is made with double layer of corrugation or hard card board sheet in case of (leather/very expensive sofa) with corner on all four legs. Entire body is sealed with help of tape and corrugated roll/card board.

Finally it is wrapped again with the help of the stretch film for better hold of the packing and prevention from wear and tear of packing while offloading through stare cases and loading/unloading in truck.

 

TV/Fridge/Washing Machine/Coocking range/Microwave:

While packing electronic house hold items it is checked if they are empty and all their internal parts like in fridge is dry. All the accessories are made tight with the help of news paper and wire is corrugated. Microwave is made tight with its inner plate and bowl. While packing T.V and cocking range it is ensured that they are wrapped up with bubble and thermocol sheets and are placed all around the body for shock absorbance. If available original cartons are only used otherwise hard card board sheet should is used in packing and finally it is sealed in wooden packing.

Washing machine accessories are wrapped and placed inside the drum and with the help of two bolts the drum is made tight.

 

Almirah with Front Glass/Dressing Table:

First of all one mirror size thermocol or piece of hard card board sheet is placed on in front of mirror and entire body is wrapped with stretch film, base is made up of a double layer of corrugation or hard card board sheet. After that all margins are covered with corrugated sheet and corners are padded with readymade corners. All body is wrapped up with double layer of corrugation and finally with a stretch film.

 

Show Pieces/Crystal Ware/Glass Ware/Cut Glasses, etc:

All these high fragile items are packed & wrapped up first with newspaper/white paper/brown paper and finally with a single layer of bubble and corrugated sheet.

While packing in cartons, it is always ensured thet they are placed vertically and not horizontally and the gap areas are filled with scrap corrugated and news paper to make it fairly tight. Even on the top one sheet of corrugated or thermocol is given to give extra strength.

Utencils/Kitchen items:

While packing utencils, plastic ware and other kitchen items, the things are wrapped with at least one layer of news paper to prevent the scratches. All spices/grains and other jars are placed with their lid tightly closed and they are even taped if required, to prevent it from getting spilled over in transit and spoiling the other materials.

 

Clothes/Blankets/Linens:

Such type of materials are packed in flat cartons. They are firstly wrapped in polythene to make the packing water & dust proof.

For long term storage packing silica gel and naphthalene balls are used to prevent the clothes from fungus moth caused due to moisture and storing for a long time.
